Now that the kids are back in school, it is a great time to get yourself and your goals on track and on a schedule.  Studies show that times of transition, like the kids heading back to school, are the best times to establish new healthier habits.  So what are you waiting for?

If you want to achieve big things one of the best things you can do for yourself is to establish some routines.

  • Want to drink more water? Start each day with a glass of water and then as you make your way to the kitchen to make your morning cup of coffee, drink another glass while you are waiting for it to brew.  That way you’ll have 2 glasses down before you even head out the door!
  • Want to be happier? Stimulate your endorphins with a vigorous workout first thing in the morning.  Endorphins are the feel-good hormones your body produces which are released with exercise.  Working out in the morning gives you a happy start to your day.
  • Want to get in shape? Set yourself up for a few sessions with a personal trainer. This will give you the accountability you need and start you on the path toward the best shape of your life!
  • Want to be more active? Take a class. If you find that you have trouble sticking to a routine, a class is a great way to get started. Invite a friend to a group fitness class and make plans to meet each week so that you begin to look forward to coming back. Or commit yourself to 30 minutes of cardio while your kids are enrolled in a youth fitness class.

Remember that when it comes to working out, consistency is the key to results. Good luck! We believe in you. If we can help in any way please let us know!
