Every year is an Olympic year here at OCSC! We are serious about gymnastics and are excited to bring a taste of the games to the students of our Youth Programming classes through our annual Olympiad.

In case you aren’t familiar with how the OCSC Olympiad is run, here are the details:

The event starts with all the students marching into the gym with the Olympic song. The coaches will march in with the students holding the sign with the name of each group so the spectators will be able to easily find the kids they are supporting! After a thorough warm up, each group will move to their events. After all of the groups finish their rotations, next comes of one of the highlights of the day…the medal ceremony. OCSC will present each group and celebrate each participant with a medal.

During the first session, the preschool kids are up first, and they will be presenting 2 floor circuits as well as a bar circuit and trampoline. During the second session, it is times for our kids ages 6 and up to shine. These children will do routines on bars, floor, balance beam and trampoline.

The OCSC Olympiad will take place right here at OCSC on Sunday, June 12th. We will have 2 sessions. With preschool and developmental participating in the first session, followed by

all groups’ ages 6 and up as well as pre-team. We are excited to invite OCSC YP kids, parents, friends, and family to gather to celebrate with our students. Be sure to register your child for this fun event ASAP. The deadline is May 5th!

OCSC offers a variety of classes designed to help your child build confidence while having fun!
