Florida, NY – The Orange County Sports Club or OCSC, celebrated their re-brand with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, August 14th at noon.  President of OCSC Eric Muhlrad, Director of Operations Kevin Byrket and members of the staff welcomed Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus, Orange County Chamber of Commerce President Lynn Cione, Owner of Media Vision Advertising James Danella along with members of the community to the family-oriented club located at 1743 Route 17 A, in Florida, NY.  “One of my passions has always been sports.  For years I’ve wanted to create the ultimate fitness environment for all ages.  Orange County Sports Club has given me the ability to reach that vision.” announced Eric Muhlrad.

Formerly known as Sports Fitness & Fun, OCSC is home of a 41,000 square foot facility and Outdoor Sports Park.  They are the only facility in the area to offer both a full service gymnastics program (that includes the designation as a USAG Trampoline Training Facility) as well as a state of the art fitness center for adults.  In addition to gymnastics, the Youth Programming includes classes for children to learn dance, martial arts, tumbling, cheer, fencing and soccer.  For adults, they offer personal training and a group fitness schedule with classes including everything from cycle to Zumba.  They even offer childcare which makes it easier for families with young children to achieve their fitness goals.  “OCSC is a family focused business,” says OCSC’s Kevin Byrket.  “It serves the entire community; we’re here for everyone and are proud to be here.”

After the ribbon cutting, attendees received a full tour and were treated to a demonstration by Emily Gorczynski age 13, a gold level gymnast on OCSC’s USAIGC Team. After the demonstration refreshments were served and door prizes were awarded.  County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus stated “I was honored to be a part of Orange County Sports Club’s ribbon cutting. The club has developed a great reputation in Orange County, offering a variety of innovative and exciting programs. I look forward to watching Orange County Sports Club grow and wish the facility the best of luck. Establishments such as Orange County Sports Club are important to residents because they offer great programs and activities in a family-friendly environment.”
