Samantha Peszek competed for 22 years at all levels of gymnastics. She was a 2007 World Champion. She also competed as part of the 2008 Olympic Silver Medal winning Team USA in Beijing, China. After the Olympics, Sam headed to UCLA where she competed in collegiate gymnastics. As a Bruin, she won 3 NCAA titles, including the all-around championship as a senior in 2015. In 2017 she founded Beam Queen Boot Camp to empower young gymnasts through hard work and fun on the notoriously difficult apparatus – The Balance Beam.
What is Beam Queen Boot Camp?
Samantha’s vision is to help young gymnasts feel more confident on the balance beam by strengthening their mental and physical technique. Beam Queen Boot Camp is a two-day Beam Party that focuses on skills, drills and body movements for the balance beam. Samantha and her team of fellow Olympians, NCAA athletes and coaches, choreographers, judges and mental performance coaches travel the US bringing their balance beam boot camp to inspire gymnasts all around the United States.
Beam Queen Book Camp at Orange County Sports Club will be held this summer, August 9 – August 10, 2022. Gymnasts and parents who are interested in taking part of this fun event and training with an Olympian right here in their backyard can sign up at BeamQueenBootCamp.com/Events.
